Preparation + God’s Timing = Perfect Results

Gods Perfect Timing

During our 'day jobs' we learn process and preparation

We know that ink needs to be in the printer in preparation for printing. When it is time for a break, we know water has to boil in preparation for making a cup of tea.

Often God talks to us of new preparations. Whispers. Dreams. Intuition. A knowing. Calling us to take new steps in preparation for His plans. But are we listening? Do we take the required actions?

For me, coming to the Ministry has taken years of such calling. Many many moments of knowing, longing even, before I've been ready to take action. To prepare for God's work.

A lot of my reservation, has been fear. Feeling unworthy. Not good enough. Not humble enough. Too much of a sinner!

If God has faith in me, who am I to doubt myself? If He believes in me, who am I to say I am not able?

The Ministry isn't His only work. All work can be God's work. When doing a job with compassion, love and God in mind, we are in His service.

Doing God's Work

There are many who are not ready. The foundations have to be established during your season of preparation. The vision God has given you must be accomplished for you to feel fulfilled.

Preparation can seem laborious. But even in our preparing we are honouring God.

When you see someone in the position you feel called to and you feel a sense of envy at the ease and grace they show in their work. Know that they have already accomplished their season of preparation.

None of us can learn through another's journey. Our season of preparation is uniquely our own. I am reminded of a quote I read recently, I don't remember who said it. Maybe Jim Rohn or Tony Robbins:

No-one ever got fit by getting someone
else to do their push-ups for them

Getting fit to do God's work is like that. You have to do your own training. Your own preparation.

John 15:4 Abide in Me, and I in you.
As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself,
unless it abides in the vine, neither can
you, unless you abide in Me.

God's Timing

Ecclesiastes 3:1 To everything there is a
season, A time for every purpose under
the heaven.

God's timing is not always our timing. Whatever your situation, it does not contradict God's plan or purpose. He knows what you are going through in your season of preparation and, all things considered and accounted for, He's on schedule.

Pray without ceasing. Trust that divine timing is at work and that you are exactly where you are meant to be, right here, right now.

It is easy to become dissatisfied. It is easy to lose the sense of purpose God intended for your work. Remain positive. He is always with you.

Galations 6:9 And let us not grow weary
while doing good, for in due season we
shall reap if we do not lose heart.

Enjoy your season of preparation. Don't give up. Keep your faith in God, as He keeps his faith in you

Be confident; you are a child of God. Be humble; everyone else is too.

God bless!
